When someone hates you

1
Do not reply by saying "I hate you, too". This will seem weak as you cannot come up with your own comeback.

2
Do not cry as this will make your opponent laugh at you, and may make you seem weak. Which, in turn, may draw other bullies.

3
Do not run away as this will cause your opponent to laugh or follow you.

4
Say anything mean back to them but be sure to say it in a strong, confident voice.

5
Say something mean but not a ridiculous comeback - e.g. Do not say your mom,
or something like that.

6
Try saying, "That is a wonderful opinion of yours that I will not consider important." Or the all-purpose, "The feeling's mutual," meaning basically the same thing as "Right back at you."

7
You could smirk, or give a sincere laugh, and say something along the lines of "Oh, thank goodness!" or "It was only a matter of time." It may confuse them. Or, you could pull in someone who's walking by, and tell them in a voice loud enough for the opponent to hear, "Didja hear that? This guy says he hates me! Ain't it great?!" It may make you seem extremely odd, but basically reacting exactly the opposite of what your opponent expects is a great defense.

8
As opposed to insulting them, telling them you hate them back, or anything else not classified as particularly "kind", you could try saying something like "Thank you for sharing your opinion" and giving a nice smile.

9
If the person truly hates you, it might throw them off guard if you say "I forgive you
